Search Terms

Search Terms I love love love some of the search terms that bring people to my blog. I’m talking about someone, somewhere in the world going to Google and conducting a search for something.  As you know search results provide a list of choices of where to go as you know and these particular visitors, for whatever reason, have chosen to visit this site for answers. When someone comes to Hazardgirl in this way, the search term they used gets recorded.

They must be VERY surprised when they get here, for example, when they search on “home depot assault on customer.” WHAT do you suppose happened to them that they needed to search this phrase?

Someone also came to HazardGirl as a result of searching on “home depot rage at the register”. Again, do we need to fear shopping at Home Depot because of unstable staff or customers?

Another favourite is “where can I find olivina margarine?”. I am surprised that they wouldn’t just check at the nearest grocery store. Perhaps they live in Kapuskasing or Iqaluit, where supply may be scarce for these specialty items.

Then there are the very non-specific searches like “locked me out of the house”. Again, I really wonder what on earth they were trying to achieve by searching on that phrase.

I just love this!
